Please accept our most sincerest condolences. Mr. Blackburn was a great friend to my late grandparents, Bill and Joyce McClain of Idamay (Marion Co.) , as well as my mother Carolyn Joyce McClain Daugherty. He and my mother continued to keep up with each other via phone until my mother's ALS diagnosis over a year ago. She passed on January 6th. He was so fascinating to talk to, and would send pies, fig jelly, and my mother would often do the same. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Sincerely,

Joyce Daugherty Rittenhouse
