I met John in Nashville at CRS (Country Radio Seminar). What a wonderful man. We were good friends for many years and he was so devout to family and music, as well as life. Sorry to hear of his passing.

We are so sorry to hear this sad news. We all grew up together on Leslie Avenue and although I have not seen John for years my childhood memories of growing up there are such great memories. My deepest sympathy to the entire Blassingame Family.
