To John's Family~
Our family thought very highly of John. He was our agent and also our friend. He would spend 10 min. on insurance and the next 30 min. talking about his boys! He was VERY proud of his boys! We always looked forward to visiting with him.
I'll always remember his gentle ways with my aging Mother. He would repeat things 2 and 3 times until she fully understood. She always referred to him as her "handsome" insurance agent.
Take comfort in knowing that he loved his family ...and was admired by many.

I met John in Jr High School and was immediately impressed with his sincerity and honest goodness. He had that much desired trait to which we all aspire, he was a geniue friend. I have not seen John in over 32 years, but I am certain that he was an even better husband and father, to which there is no greater calling in life. We will all miss John but I find solice in the fact that he left his small part of the world a better place. May you find comfort and joy in the memory of his life lived at a higher standard.

John Boatright Family- I grew up in Dodge City with the Boatright clan and have many fond memories of the entire family especially at the old Sinclair station on Wyatt Erp Blvd. I got to know John during fraternity rush in 1975. John was beloved by all of the Phi Kap's and we will all miss him dearly.

Debbie,
I am sorry sorry to hear about John. I first met John when working at Old American. We remained friends through out the years and we lived just a few blocks from you in Blue Springs. He was our agent when he was with Country Companies and then Farmers. His presence had a calming affect on everyone. I am so sad to hear he passed away.

John and I worked together many years ago and played softball together for a couple years. He was a tremendous athlete and an even better guy. We drifted apart after our playing days, but that distance did not diminish my shock and sorrow to hear of his passing.
His memory of his will live on with his family and in the hearts and minds of his friends, past and present.

John was a great person who donated most of his time to doing things for others. He was always involved in his childrens lives (and many other kids in the community) through coaching and sponsoring of sports teams. You have got to love a person that gives as much to young people as John did.
