JOHN BONACCORSI Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 14 to Feb. 15, 2017.
BONACCORSI
JOHN F.
Age 82, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of 63 years to Faye Sunderman Bonaccorsi; special brother of Al (Toni) Bonaccorsi; loving father and best friend to his five children, William (Lu Ann) Bonaccorsi, Joyce Bonaccorsi, John "Jackie" (Leslie) Bonaccorsi, Mark (Melody) Bonaccorsi and Janice (Brian) Allemang; proud grandfather of Jacquelyn (Bryan) Lee, Michael (Kate Kelly) Toth, Ashley Toth, Marc (Liz) Allemang, Christina (Corey) Mathews, John (Dana) Allemang, John Louis Bonaccorsi, Dominic (Lauren) Bonaccorsi, Michelle Allemang, Leah (Zach) Zebrasky, Anthony Bonaccorsi, Francesca Bonaccorsi, Nick Bonaccorsi, Joseph Bonaccorsi and Santinio Bonaccorsi; great-grandfather to seven, Jacob, Ellis, Jackson, Eli, Ava, Liam and Lilliana; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his mother, Nellie; and his father, Dominic Bonaccorsi; his two sisters, Ana Curra and Emily Mazza; and his brother, John Bonaccorsi. John served in the United States Navy and was a Korean War Veteran. He retired from the USPS after 35 years of service. His favorite hobby was watching his sons' and grandkids' wrestling matches. He was a man of faith and subtly tried to instill those values in those he loved. If we could all be as good of a father and husband as he was, we would all be better people. If something needed fixing or someone need advice given, he was always there. He was truly a hero to his family. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at PAUL L. HENNEY MEMORIAL CHAPEL, Bethel Park. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, 10 a.m., St. Valentine Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to St. Valentine Capital Improvement Campaign, 2710 Ohio St., Bethel Park, PA 15102.
