Nancy Soderlund Obituary
Mrs. Nancy C. Soderlund, 78 of King George, Virginia, formerly of Frederick, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2013 in Fredericksburg, VA. She was the wife of the late Carl Soderlund.
Born on September 22, 1934 in Washington, DC she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl Campbell.
Nancy enjoyed traveling on many mission trips all over the world. She also enjoyed doing puppet shows and also had a love for horses and cats.
She is survived by her three children, Kerry Childers and husband Donald of King George, VA, Kevin Soderlund and wife Julie of Raleigh, NC and Scott Soderlund and wife Joyce of King George, VA, twelve grandchildren and her aunt Cora Purcell of Frederick.
She is preceded in death by her sisters, Kathryn Farrow and Rosemary Campbell.
The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Sunday, August 18th from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19th at 11 a.m. at the Emmanuel Alliance Church, 7102 Ladd Lane, Frederick with Rev. Stephen Kroh officiating.
Interment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, VA.
In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Nancy may be made to the Windswept Academy, P.O. Box 1576, Eagle Butte, SD 57625.
