John Boutquin Obituary
John earned his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Technique Superieure De l'Etat in Brussels, Belguim. He retired from EDS (now known as Hewlett Packard), where he worked as an engineer for 25 years. John enjoyed soccer, and coached young boys for a few years. He enjoyed photography and music. John had a wonderful sense of humor and a generous heart. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his sister, Francine Burkhard. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Helene P. (Froyen) Boutquin; son, Pierre Boutquin of Toronto, Canada; and sister, Nicole Legros of Brussels, Belgium.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 11am in Ted Dickey West Funeral Home. Those wishing to send condolences or sign the online guestbook may visit www.teddickeywestfuneral.com.

From all of us at Avalon Memory care, it was such an honor to be a part of Johns` final year. He was such a tender and gentle soul with so much love in his eyes. He never spoke much but when he did it was it was filled with joy. We will forever miss him but we are happy hes in a better place.

So sorry to learn of John's passing. I worked with John at EDS, Corporate Software, for several years. John was always passionate about his work, quick to laugh and encourage those around him.
