This is a late birthday post..... But this how I viewed my grandpa life.

On December 20, 1941 a life was born with unwritten chapters waiting to be filled with moments that we live for everyday. As the years went by the unwritten chapters turn into a story that lived a life to its fullest potential. The moments of this life are now beautiful memories of a man who took his days like it was he last by working hard to earn a life to be with his Soulmate to create a family, and to be surrounded by his loved ones. This man is my grandfather he went above and beyond to see the happiness in life, he truly lived that dream that everyone wants. To be surrounded by your love ones forever and always. On November 18, 2014 his fulfilled story came to an end but the memories we have of him live on in our hearts and he will never be forgotten. Happy Birthday Gpa may you rest in peace, as you watch over us.I love and miss you Gpa

Dear Beverly, Debbie & Laurie,
So sorry to hear about John's passing. John was my first "mentor", and gave me a great start in Business. I'll never forget the drive from HNL to the Al Phillips, Kahala Branch, talking about Al Phillips and the new Apparel Master franchise. I was so excited.
I never had the chance to "thank" John for his early mentoring and friendship.

Aloha!!

Dear Brewer family, I am so sorry to have learned John's passing. We all lived on Coolidge street as young kids growing up and attending Kit Carson, Montgomery Junior High and Kearny and all very faithful friends. May your family find peace and may you fly high above the clouds watching over your family and enjoy life ever after. God Bless You. Your neighbor, Barbara Bauer, Forester

I was so very sad to learn of John's passing. As a banker, I met John and, soon after, Beverly, when he first bought his cleaning business in Hawai'i. He and I spent time together as business associates. John was a very good businessman, moreover, an even better man at a time when ones character was the determining factor between a banker and a borrower. John was a man of profound character. I miss him.

I remember John helping me to get started in track at Kearny High School many years ago. The Brewers were very special friends of our family in Linda Vista and beyond. My thoughts are with your family.
