On days like this it's hard to think of all the eccentric colorful characters that graced our lives and how lucky we have been to have shared so many wonderful moments & memories with all of them. John was an incredible & intelligent man, he wished always be in my memories & remembered fondly.

My sincere condolences to the family. I was lucky to meet John through his "pub group" of friends, and always enjoyed his company. I will miss his clever wit, genuine kindness, and generous spirit. An inspiring person and true gentleman who I will always remember fondly - it was impossible not to smile and share laughter in his presence.

So saddened to learn of John's passing.
I adore Him.
He will always stay in my memory as He is:
an amiable & welcoming Man, with much kindness, supreme eloquence, style and brilliance.
I have many warm memories as a child, staying at His home in Ayer's Cliff, Townships, QC.
Also, He was a tremendous supporter and partner of my late- father's work.
As friends, they went back a while .. and as Craig's daughter, I received the same of the best of His offerings.
For that experience, I've been so fortunate.
My sincerest sympathies to family for your loss...

My deepest sympathies to family and friends, John was always a great friend to my father Ivy and always made my childhood all that much more interesting just when you thought it couldn't get more than this. Rest in peace and I love you dearly. Natasha Carpentier
