John "Jake" H. Busard, Jr. 77 of Philadelphia passed away on September 17, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Elizabeth A. Rodgers Busard. Loving father of Jean M. Rodgers (Kim Schneider), Elizabeth A. Martini (Robert), Barbara L. Campbell (Brian) and Sharon L. Gordon (Kevin). Grandfather to Charles (Nicole), Nicholas, Hannah, Jaci, Alex, Mackenzie and Greyson. Great grandfather of Kyra, Elizabeth and Zoey. Dear brother of Charles (late Roberta) and Howard (late Ida) Predeceased by his siblings William (Eleanor) Joan Newsome (Bill) and Richard. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Jake enjoyed being with his family and friends. He loved life. He loved taking walks, being at the beach, and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Jake's Life celebration Thursday September 24, 2020 from 9:00AM to 11:00AM followed by his funeral service at 11:00AM at John F. Givnish of Academy Rd, 10975 Academy Rd. Interment is private. At the request of the family, please wear a mask and respect social distancing.
