My deepest sympathy to Bunny, Jack, Toni & Michelle.
Growing up together I felt we were more like family than friends. I will always remember Johnny as a baby with his dark, full head of curls- such a beautiful child. I remember when my mom watched him while you were on a trip. I'd come home from school and he would be quietly playing in the playpen. My mom had him trained like a little seal!
My last memory of him was when you all came to visit Il from Atlanta and John was break dancing in my kitchen!
He grew up to be a wonderful man and will surely be missed by many.
I'm deeply sorry he had to go so soon- I can't imagine your hurt.
I will keep him and all of you in my prayers.
May he rest peacefully with Our Lord and may you all be blessed with the grace of God to strengthen you during this painful time.

My dearest memory,
When your sweet Mom and your Dad asked me to be your Godmother for your very special day, your baptism, I felt it was a confirmation that I was part of your family. I had always felt that your Mom was like a sister to me. Holding you in my arms the day you became a child of God, I will always cherish.

John was one of a kind. He was funny, wild, sweet, and an all around wonderful guy. It didn't matter how long it had been since we had last seen one another he always took the time to know exactly how things have been and wanted to know all that was new in my life. And of course he would get us shot! :) I am heartbroken that he is gone but I know I feel blessed to have met him. I will continue to pray for his family and loved ones. RIP John.

It seems impossible that Justin and I will never run into Calderone again, as we often did in downtown Wilmington. He always had a big smile, hugs and laughs to share. Our sympathy to his parents, his sister and other family members, Kerry, and all who are grieving this tremendous loss.
