I know that this is very late, but I wanted to express to the family how sad I was to learn about John's passing. I have fond memories of John. In high school, he always was looking out for us girls making sure that we were ok at parties and got home safe. He was such a nice person. My mom would tell me when she ran into him in Duarte and that he would send his Hellos. I will forever remember him. Although it is no substitute for losing a loved one, I have made a donation in memory of John to the City of Hope. My deepest sympathy. Sonia

I remember when John began as a recreation leader in Duarte. I enjoyed working with him because he was a kind, caring, helpful young guy with a shy, but great sense of humor.
My sympathy to John's family.
