Johnie was my cousin and frequent companion growing up in Chelsea in the 50's and 60's. I last saw him about 20 years ago and we had a beer together at the Brown Jug. I loved him and protected him the best I could when we were kids. Wish I knew of his passing at the time, I would have been there for him at the end. Goodby my gentle cousin, you were one of a kind.

I was a neighbor of Johnny from Cheever St. Johnny was a great guy who was always a pleasure to be around. He was always listening to the the Red Sox on his transistor radio and gave us frequent updates of Red Sox stats. He was a Prattville fixture. RIP Johnny.

Johnny was my neighbor on Sagamore Ave for many years. He was always a happy guy. He would sit with me and chat on my front porch. I have many fond memories growing up with him, which I will always treasure.
