Rob and I met John for the first time when he came riding up on his bicycle... he was laughing and joking, and so nice. I knew that he would make a great husband for my best friend. You will be missed John XO

John has always been a true friend to me and DiDi. We have had a lot of laughter and good talks. I loved you like a brother. I am sure we will be reunited one day in the presence of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We will always be here for you Susan, just a minute away

I remember when John and Sue came up to our cottage. We had such a wonderful time. We
laughed a lot and had a few to many. John called
me DiDi, he loved to tease me. Then wait to see
how long it took me to figure out he was joking. He loved to joke. Don't take anything seriously.
Frank and I Truly loved his man. May you rest in
peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will see you again!

John was truly a dear friend, actually more like a brother than a friend (We were both born in September, 1951) We had a lot of common interests, including Senior Fit at church, Euchre group, and most importantly our golf league which he and ran together. We kidded each other so much on the course that newcomers would wonder aloud "Do these guys even like each other"! It goes without saying that John was truly one of a kind. I am truly going to miss him.

As an only child, John missed out on having a sibling to pester him. We adopted each other early in our acquaintance. We were "Soul Siblings".
He pestered me and I gave it back as best I could. I had some practice, having two younger brothers and a younger sister. However, he was a "natural pesky brudda" and I was actually far disadvantaged.
My last comment to him was "I don´t know when I will see you next...but I know without a doubt..I will see you again!"
Looking forward to when we are reunited in another life. Peace to the memory of this wonderfully complicated and beloved man.

Sue, I'm sorry for your grief and loss and hope so many memories that you two enjoyed together will bring you comfort for a life well lived with a lot of Love. John was a generous, loving, and funny guy who was always up for an adventure, willing to help without hesitation and loved you deeply and truly as well as his entire family. He will be missed.

The best brother-in-law. Always ready with a joke or helping hand, mostly both at same time. He was so kind and loving, I miss him already. I know you are in Heaven with Tony saying "Now girls do you really want to do it that way?" My love and prayers. Sharon
