John Karl Ciminello

September 1, 1965 - January 8, 2025

John Karl Ciminello, a cherished husband, son, grandfather, and great friend, passed away on January 8, 2025, in Allen, Texas, at the age of 59. Born on September 1, 1965, in Passaic, New Jersey, John lived a life marked by dedication to his craft, a love for collecting unique treasures, and an enduring kindness that touched everyone he encountered.

From an early age, John demonstrated a strong work ethic and a passion for his trade. He became a Licensed Master Plumber shortly after high school and earned a reputation as one of the most skilled professionals in his field. His commitment to excellence and his ability to solve complex problems made him highly respected among colleagues and clients alike.

Outside of his work, John found joy in collecting items that reflected his wide-ranging interests. His collections included baseball cards, beer cans, Hard Rock Cafe pins, and coins-each piece representing his enthusiasm for history and nostalgia. He also enjoyed the excitement of betting on horse races, a pastime that brought him both entertainment and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts.

John's personality was as vibrant as his smile. Known for his quick wit and talent for creating nicknames that brought laughter to those around him, he had an extraordinary ability to make people feel special. His compassion and generosity were constants throughout his life; he was always ready to lend a helping hand or share words of encouragement.

John is deeply loved and remembered by his wife of many years, Mira Rubessa Ciminello; his mother, Irma Ciminello; his siblings Margaret Mazzella (and her husband Robert), Christine Ciminello, and Peter Ciminello; his daughter Megan Ciminello (and Jason Masters); and his grandchildren Quentin Martin, Connor Masters, Jacob Masters, and James Masters. He also leaves behind nieces Dana Mazzella and Robyn Hunter (and her husband Michael), along with countless friends whose lives he enriched with his warmth and humor. John was preceded in death by his father, Peter Ciminello.

A celebration of John's life will take place on February 1, 2025, at Chase Oaks Church - Legacy Campus in Plano, Texas, at 6:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to gather in honor of a man whose presence brought light into every room he entered. Though he is no longer with us physically, John's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Visit Chase Oaks Church , May we find comfort in remembering the joy he brought into our lives and the legacy of love he leaves behind.

Friday night get togethers. John Karl, JR and Pat would go upstairs after we all had pizza or some type of takeout and would play poker for hours. MIra, my sister and myself would be yapping about our weeks and just about our lives and before you knew it .. it was 2 or 3 am. The poker gang is all gone now but I have the memories of those nights and I wouldn't trade them for all the money in the world. GOD SPEED and GOD BLESS.
