On behalf of the Stevens' family, I want to express condolences to Tod, Johnny, and their families. We were fortunate enough to have you as neighbors in Charlotte for decades and as dear friends for over 50 years. Our parents raised their kids together, enjoying backyard camaraderie and many beach trips to Ocean Isle throughout those years. I'm sure Bettye, Carol, and now John are reunited in heaven while they await my dad Charlie to join them for eternity. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys during this very emotional time. With Love - Wendy (Stevens) Hudak.

Deeply saddened to hear of John's passing. We loved him & Bettye. He was the kindest, most loving and dearest person. I'm sure Bettye is happy to have him near and they will be a wonderful couple once again.
