What a fun, loving man was this man, John Coderre. I only knew him for 6 years from 1988-1994 when he and Avis would come to Culpeper, VA to see her long-lost father, Howard B. Hutchin(s)d. One thing he told me that I've always remembered. He said "I've been Catholic all my life but I didn't meet Jesus until I was 47 years old" and then he would go on to explain how he had begun going to a Pentecostal church on Sunday evenings after attending Catholic Mass on Sunday mornings. He was down to earth and shared his love for Jesus openly.
Mark 16:15, Jesus words' say, "And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." and John was certainly a spreader of the gospel in his own way.
To his sons Michael and Kevin, I'm sorry we never got to meet you although we heard about you during those six years and I'm sure you heard about your Uncle Charlie (Hutchind), my husband, down here in VA. Our condolences to you and your families for the loss of both your parents.

My sincere condolences for your loss. As you endure this difficult time of sorrow, please turn to the Most High God for comfort as his word assures us at Jeremiah 29:12,13 "you will call me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you."

Kevin, Liz and family, Bill and I are so sorry to hear of John's passing. I have many happy memories sitting with him and Avis at Tiffany and my daughter's basketball games. I find it comforting to know that he is up with God's family still cheering you all on, with Avis at his side.
