John COOGAN Obituary
Peacefully at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice, with his family by his side on March 6, 2019 following a long and hard fought illness. Beloved husband for 59 years of Beverley (nee White). Loved and loving father of Michael (Heather) and Diane. Proud and loved Grandpa of Sarah and Samuel Coogan. Loving brother of Gordon (Sandra), Doris Coogan and Mary Pearce (Steve). Jack will be missed by many nieces and nephews as well as Bev's brother Gord and his wife Carole.
Predeceased by parents John and Evelyn (nee Kealey), and siblings Lorna Schumann, Eleanor Dineen (Jim) and Delbert (late Gail). Family and friends are welcome to attend a Mass for Jack at St. Basil's Church (Maitland & the Queensway) on Saturday, March 9 at 11 am. with reception to follow. Internment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fallowfield at a later date.
Special and heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff and volunteers at the Ruddy-Shenkman Hospice in Kanata for the wonderful care and friendship provided to Jack and his family. If desired, donations to Hospice Care Ottawa would be appreciated.
