John CROFT Obituary
("Jack Croft")
September 8, 1932 - November 7, 2015 (83)
On November 7, 2015, Jack Croft passed away peacefully in the Stony Plain Westview Extended Care Centre. Jack was surrounded by his family and loving wife, Diane Croft, of over 42 years.
Jack is survived by his wife Diane, three sons, a daughter and seven grandchildren; Gary (Karen) Austin and Stephanie Croft of Calgary, Christine (Brian) John and Carl Hall of Calgary, John (Wanda) Michelle, Hayden and Vanessa Croft of Edmonton, and Michael Croft of St Albert. Jack, being the youngest of eight Croft children, was predeceased by four brothers and two sisters, and has one surviving sister, Betty Butler of Cremona.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude towards the wonderful staff that cared for Jack at both the Misericordia Hospital, and then Westview Extended Care Centre, where Jack spent his final days in a peaceful and warm surroundings.
A celebration of Jack's life will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Westlawn Funeral Home, 16310 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Jack's name to the Cross Cancer Institute.

Diane and Family...unable to attend the service for Uncle Jack, Our hearts and thoughts are with you during this time of sadness...Jack taught me(Joe Croft) everything he knows about plumbing and I am grateful to still be using those skills that he gave me. Carol and I send virtual hugs to you all and know that we are with you in heart.
