John Cronin Obituary
Dr. John C. Cronin, 78, passed away August 3, 2017 in Fort Collins, CO.
He was born April 16, 1939 in Butte, MT to the late Neil P. Cronin and Margaret Holland Cronin. He attended Carroll College and medical school at Loyola University.
John was a Radiologist in Fort Collins for most of his career and served in the United States Air Force as a Physician. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, reading, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. John is survived by his sons, Jay Cronin (Dana) of Windsor, CO, Michael Cronin (Mary) of Beaverton, OR; daughter, Kelley Cronin of Fort Collins, CO; sisters, Helen Murray (Mike) of Helena, MT. and Mary-Claire Kearney (Tom) of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Will and Katie Hinz, and Shea and Ryan Cronin.
Memorial Service will be held 3:00 pm Thursday, August 10, 2017 in the chapel at Allnutt Funeral Service, 650 W Drake Road, Fort Collins, CO 80526.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the National Alliance on Mental Health, www.nami.org . Family and friends are invited to sign the online guestbook or leave a personal note to the family at www.allnutt.com

I used to work at the Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies. I have so many memories of Dr Cronin. I always loved it when he would stop by the physical therapy desk to say hi and tell a good joke! He made me laugh all the time.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Kelley, Michael and Jay, You are all in my thoughts as you say goodbye to your dad. John was a good, loyal friend to us for such a long time - I have fond memories of many fun trips to Vail and of eating the tough little steaks at his favorite Charcoal Broiler.
