CUSACK, John J. "Jack" Of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, January 29, 2015, at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Mary P. (Ludden) Cusack for over 66 years. Loving father of John Cusack Jr. and his wife Mary of Braintree, William Cusack and his wife Jeri Diehl of Grandview Heights, OH, Brian Cusack and his wife Cheryl of Braintree, Robert Cusack and his wife Janice of Braintree, and Gregory Cusack of Weymouth. Brother of the late Martin J. Cusack. Dear grandfather of Michael, Eileen, Patrick, Timothy, Kevin, Katherine, Annie, Rory, Matthew, Mark, Robert, Kerri Ann, Shay, Jack and Daniel. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. John was born in Boston and he graduated from Dorchester High School and Northeastern University. He was a Civil Engineer and a member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers, and US Military Engineers. John was a WWII US Navy Veteran who served active duty in the South Pacific. He also was in the SeaBees Civil Engineering Construction Group. He was a Captain in the Naval Reserves for 36 years. John was a former Coach for North Braintree Little League and Registrar of Braintree Youth Hockey. He was a former member of the Braintree Conservation Commission as well as Town Meeting Member. Parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree for over 50 years. Reposing at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington Street, BRAINTREE until 9:45 AM on Tuesday followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:30 in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4:00-8:00 PM. Burial in Braintree Cemetery, Braintree.
