Willie Irvin Thompson

Willie Irvin Thompson 53, departed this life on June 28, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. A Colorado Springs resident for the past 22 years. Willie was born July 24, 1953 in Weldon, NC to the union of Willie W. Thompson and Martha R. Thompson. Preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Ricky L. Pye and Dannie Pye. Willie enjoyed painting, loved fishing and spending quality time with his family. He is survived by his beloved wife Roxann M. Thompson, two sons Willie I. Thompson, Jr. and Willie M. Corbin; one daughter Lavern Corbin; two granddaughters. Four brothers Allen G. (Jackie) Thompson, Kenny (Doris) Thompson, Rodney (Juanita) Thompson and Michael (Porsha) Thompson; one sister Joann (Wayne) Welch. A host of nieces and nephews along with other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4 PM to 6 PM on Monday, July 2, 2007 at Angelus Funeral Directors, locate at 2535 Airport Rd., Colorado Springs, CO. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Church of All Nations located at 6540 Templeton Gap Rd., Colorado Springs, CO. Burial will take place 11:30 AM Thursday, July 5, 2007 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd. Denver, Colorado.
