JOHN J., SR. "Johnny Del", on February 2, 2016, formerly of Philadelphia and presently residing in Washington Twp., NJ and Palm Harbor, FL, age 71. Beloved husband of Nancy (nee Graham), devoted and proud father of Jeannie Billmann (Kevin) and John J. D'Alessandro, Jr. (Christine). Loving grandfather of Ryan and Nicholas Billmann, Olivia and Joseph Anthony D'Alessandro. Dear brother of Joseph (Kathleen), Anthony (Nina) and the late Henry. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Carmella D'Alessandro, to whom he remained an ever-loving son.
A St. Thomas More graduate and a member of the New Jersey National Guard, John owned the Bruce H. In the meantime, laugh with your daughter, throw a ball with your son, play with your grandchildren, love your wife, and live with integrity. Dear Nancy, family, and friends,,

John was a gentleman and professional. In the time I served with him on the Board of Directors at our condominium complex here in FL, I learned to appreciate the servant attitude of John. He was always willing to help with any board business day or night, even in the middle of the night, and I do mean with anything. I appreciate having had the opportunity to know and serve with John. I shall never forget the special man he was!

To the D'Alessandro family, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers at your time of grief. John was a wonderful person, and great Board member of Pine Ridge and well respected by many of the residents here. I enjoyed being his "administrative secretary" taking the minutes for him and reading them at the board meetings. He was a fair and honest man and had the respect of the best here! He will be sorely missed. Love to you all. Luella and Eliot Frank

I went to boot camp in South Carolina with John in 1965. We flew down in a propeller commercial plane where everyone got sick on the plane. I can still visualize John getting that handsome crop of hair completely removed from his head in a matter of seconds. John always smiled and very easy going. He will be surely missed.
