JOHN FRANCIS
John, age 75, of Oakdale, North Fayette Twp., died August 31, 2017, in his home. He was born July 30, 1942, in Paris, France, a son of the late Julien and Marie (Signorello) Dabat. Mr. Dabat was a boilermaker/welder with Local #154 working at power plants. He enjoyed singing, playing guitar, playing golf, and watching Penguins and Steelers. Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Betty M. Donahue Dabat; children, Maria Lisa (Jerry) Clay, of N. Carolina, Kathleen Ann (David) Bozeman, of GA, John Benjamin (Amy) Dabat, of GA, and Marie (AKA the Little Girl); grandchildren, John, Ashley, Julian, Peter, and Jacob; also surviving are six great-grandchildren; brothers, Joseph (Nancy) and Ben (Kathy) Dabat, both of Pittsburgh. A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the Union Presbyterian Church, 6165 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pgh., PA 15243. Please sign the guestbook at
