John Dawson beloved husband of Wilma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the age of 83. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. John is also survived by his three children Steve (Veronica), Ken, Cindy (Erwine); five grandchildren Chad, Tiana (Tyler), Chris (Elisha), Michelle (Andrew) and Trevor; three great-grandchildren Cody, Cam, Sadie; brother Geoff (Shirley) and numerous extended family members. John was predeceased by sister Lillian and daughter-in-law Susan. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of John Dawson, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

I am so sorry to hear of your Dad. I always remember his humor and kindness. I am working at the U of Mississippi so I could not make the ceremony.
