My deepest sympathy goes to the family of John Wayne. He was a good and loyal friend to my father Elroy for many years. Your family is in my prayers during this difficult time.

John was a family friend for 50 years. He gave me my first job at his service station when I was 13 years old. His memory will live on with the Bochat Family. God Bless the Doerr Family.

John Wayne was a high school classmate, and although we weren't close friends, I knew him to be a good person and respected by all.

I met John during my employ as a Deputy Sheriff for Goliad County. John was always full of life's energy and never said a bad word about anyone. He always had comical stories to tell. He was a good man. My sympathies to his family.
