John Charles Dykema

John Charles Dykema 50, formerly of Indianapolis, son of Dr. and Mrs. Roland W. Dykema, passed away April 28, 2005 in Heidelberg, Germany. He was a graduate of North Central High School and Indiana University. At the time of his death, he was the non-appropriated fund branch managerfinancial manager and single fund manager for Installation Management Agency, U.S. Army Europe. John was a recent recipient of the White Plume Award, the most prestigious honor given to a civilian by Army Morale, Welfare and Recreation. A memorial service was held May 12, 2005 at the Mark Twain Village Chapel in Heidelberg. He is survived by his parents, of Monrovia; wife Helga, son Marc and daughter Rebecca, of Nussloch, Germany; sisters, Susan of Indianapolis and Julie Winter of Tell City; brothers, Richard of Saratoga, California and William of Holliston, Massachusetts.
