Imo, John E., baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Saturday, December 21, 2019.
Beloved husband for 63 years of Darlene C. Imo. Loving father of Mark (Terri) Imo, Sherry (John) Donahue, Donna (John) Weber, Lisa Imo, and the late Gary Imo. Dear grandfather of Dominic, Tony, Isabella Imo, Max (Becky), Luke Donahue, Adam, and Josh Weber. Brother of Ed (Margie) Imo and the late Charlie (Evelyn) Imo. Beloved brother-in-law, uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
John was a proud veteran of the U. S. Army. He served two and half years in the Korean War and was awarded the Bronze Star. He owned the Imo's Pizza in St. Louis Hills since 1973. John was a mentor and friend to numerous valued employees for over 45 years.
Services: Funeral Mass at St. Alban Catholic Church, Wildwood, Friday, December 27, 2019, 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gary C. Imo Memorial Foundation at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, at Holloway, Ballwin, Thursday, 4-8 p.m. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

Thinking of you all, Aunt Dottie, Mark, Sheri, Donna and Lisa and the rest of your entire LOVING extended family, at this time of loss. Uncle John leaves us all with a wide range of memories. Not only his great sense of humor but his big heart of deep compassion. When it was time to celebrate, he knew how; when it was time to fight for his children, there was no deeper passion. Personally, I am truly grateful for the most recent time spent with him and equally grieve the loss our family patriarch. Praying for you all at this difficult time. He is surely missed.
