Macon, Georgia - John William Eddy, Jr., 60, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with Dr. Brad Marchman officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
John was born in Macon, Georgia, son to the late Jerry and Sherrill Martin. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds. John was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Cindy Mask Eddy of Macon, GA; sons; Nicholas Eddy of Augusta, GA; Cliff Melvin Mask of Warner Robins, GA; Michael Mask of Macon, GA; Andrew Mask of Centerville, GA; grandchildren; Peyton Eddy, Brianna Mask, Alex Mask, Hannah Mask; sister, Beth Eddy Griggers; niece, Whitney Rowland; mother-in-law, Geraldine Long (John Cranford); father-in-law, Henry Long, and sister-in-law, Tina (Jeff) Hulsey.

Please accept my condolence to Johns family. I am unable to attend the funeral but my prayers and thoughts are there with everyone. John was once my brother-in-law and we always got along. I remember John being a good, kind person. He liked cars, hot rods, and working on them. His health issues did not dampen his spirit at any time. He hung tough and faced into the wind at all times. All of his pain is gone and he is with Sherill and Jerry smiling down on everyone. He has gone home now as we all will.
