John Elder Jr., known affectionately as "Man," passed away on August 31, 2024, in Milwaukee, WI, at the age of 47. Born on February 23, 1977, in Louisiana, he was a vibrant presence, known for his energetic and fun-loving spirit. John's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him.

John is survived by his sister, Latonya Kennedy, his youngest sister, Makeita Wilson, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Elder Sr. and Larue Elder.

Services to honor John's life will be held at Brett Funeral Home, located at 2001 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, WI, on September 20, 2024, at 12 PM. Brett Funeral Home is also assisting the family during this difficult time.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to support the family can be made through a GoFundMe campaign; any amount will help honor John's memory and assist his loved ones.

John's life, marked by joy and a warm companionship, will be remembered and celebrated by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
