I'll hold John's infectious laugh and sense of humor in memory. He endured a long spell of trials with calm and grace. I had hoped to visit him post-pandemic in Pennsylvania, and had been in touch just before his passing. My deepest condolences to friends and family.

Your infectious laugh, your beautiful smile, your great hugs and optimistic outlook on life is what I’ll miss most about you. I’m so sad that we didn’t get to do everything that we had planned together, but I will continue on my travels with your spirit guiding me. Love you❤ Love to your family.

Oh John, my heart is broken. We were planning another road trip across country to celebrate after you recovered. We were going to take a more Northern route this time. I will never forget the long conversations and wonderful food as we traveled (those Barbecued Oysters in New Orleans were the best of the best!). You were such a great companion to my mom (your Aunt Helen) and the three of us had such fun times together. I have been missing you since you moved back home and now I look forward to seeing you in the arms of The Lord.

I met Johnny about 10 years ago on trip to Las Vegas to celebrate the birthday of a mutual friend. He became an instant friend. I feel blessed that we reconnected this past fall with regular text messages of love and support for one another. What a sweet and lovely man. Love and prayers to his dear family and friends. I miss Johnny and will hold his beautiful essence in my heart.

Oh my dear Johnny.....I can't imagine life on this planet without your kind heart, beautiful smile, deep care as a friend, love and constant support, amazing laugh and sense of humor....and so much more. We became fast friends from the moment when I set up your first interview at HBO with Rich...and I'm so grateful we stayed close friends through all the moves. I wish we could have gotten together like we always talked about for one more dinner, one more movie, or one more time hanging out, and leaving with giant hugs. I'm so relieved you're not in pain and are with the people you love and have missed so.....but I'm sooooooo sad today....missing you and not being able to hear your voice again. I love you forever my sweet friend.....I hope you're so happy wherever you are, and are with your Mom......and will watch over me, and all of us. My love and hugs and prayers to your family and many friends, who have been honored to have your beautiful, kind, funny, generous soul touch their lives. Love you and miss you so much Johnny. Johnny you will be sorely missed. Especially your beautiful smile and wonderful laugh, which was always followed by a you are “so cute “or pat on the shoulder. May you Rest In Peace with all the loved ones who went before you, and who I am sure were there to welcome you home with open arms. You will live on in all of our memories and hearts. ❤
