I am so sorry to see the passing of John. He has a special spot in my heart for what he did for me. He took me in as a Pharmacy Tech and trained me well. I loved that job until the day I retired. So a sweet man and one of the best boss anyone could have had. He was also a family member and he make holidays so much fun with his great attitude.
RIP dear John. You will always be remembered

I worked with John for many years at SMH. He was a kind, gentle man, who brought calm to my day with any conversation. He had a great sense of humor as well and I always enjoyed running into him! I wish you peace and my genuine sadness over your loss.

It was my (our) great pleasure to work with John at Mayo, SMH. He taught me all the important details and intricacies of the daily surgical list for sterile solutions going to the OR. He was the ultimate professional, but always enjoyed a story and a chuckle. I was new, and John handed me a heartfelt welcome. We all loved Johnny beyond words and he made us all better pharmacists. We are sad at his passing, but I certain you can find peace in all the good memories. Bob Hoel

I always looked forward to working with John. We shared so many laughs.
If I recall correctly, John and my dad went to college together, dated the same girl (at different times), both broke up with that girl, then both went on to marry ladies with the same name (Jan)! John was such a wonderful guy. He will be missed by many. I'm sorry for your loss.

John was a pleasure to work with. I always enjoyed the mischievous look on his face that made me wonder what was going on in his head :) I'm sorry for your loss and hope wonderful memories keep John with you forever.

I believe I was 4 when I first met my Uncle John and Aunt Jan. We flew to Minnesota with John's brother, my dad, Jim (James) Fleck. We heard many stories and had many laughs. The visits were far and few between. I believe we visited every summer till I was 8 as they sent us to 4h camp and my parents and Uncle John & Aunt Jan would go fishing. I arranged a surprise meeting in Tennessee with Tom's help for Uncle John and my dad to see each other in 1997. Again a lot of stories and laughs. My dad saw his brother during trip to MN for work and they talked on the phone for hours every few months. I also loved their Christmas news letters. So personable! I'll always remember John Fleck's laugh and the smell of his pipe!
I'm sorry I cannot be there at the service, give my love to all and I'll be praying for all of you.
