My condolence
April 16, 2016
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. I have never met with John or his family but we do share one thing in common and that is the Surname Forbister. John Forbister is the first Forbister that came from Scotland through the Hudson Bay Company and settled in the Red River district of Manitoba.Through him the Forbister line began in Canada

It has been awhile since John and I have crossed paths, but I'll never forget his laugh and they way he told a story. We had worked together at Western Electrical and remained friends afterwards. I rememeber him as a good friend, a great mentor and an amazing person into so many different interests that we we're never short on something to talk about.
My condolences to your family.

Although my husband and I only had the pleasure of meeting John once, he will be remembered as a man with an easy smile and a really warm nature.

We are so thankful that our last memory of Uncle John is him playing with our young daughter at Christmas. He was the first person to get down on the floor with her and actively engage in reading books with her. We will miss Uncle John and his genuineness and stories of his motorbike and fishing. Love you, Uncle John.
