John H. Franke John H. Franke, aged 66 of Warrenville, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 11th, 2025. John was born on July 27th, 1958 to the late Herman and Irma Franke in Seymour, Indiana. He is survived and missed by his loving wife, Kathryn, three siblings- Joe, Kate, and Margie-, his 7 children- Bill (Emillie), Jim (Melanie), Dan (Melanie), Steven, Melinda (Amir), John, and Joe-, and 6 grandchildren- Ben, Winona, Sophie, Wendell, Avery, and one due soon. He was a graduate of Seymour High School and Valparaiso University. He earned an MBA from Benedictine University. He enjoyed spending time with his family and horseback riding. He was a proud exhibitor of his horses for many years at the Dupage County Forest Preserve Danada Fall Fest which is held every October. He was the proud father of the varied athletic competitions of his children including wrestling, basketball, and track and field. He was especially skilled in carpentry, having built an addition for his in-laws alongside his children.

Services will be held at St. Timothy Lutheran Church: 1313 N Mill St, Naperville IL on Friday, July 18th, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.
