John Fury Obituary
JOHN MICHAEL "MIKE"
Our beloved husband, father, son and grandpa, John Michael "Mike" Fury, 58, died peacefully in his home on February 23, 2006. "Mike" retired from the U. S. Navy, February 1, 1995, after 20 years of service, as a Chief aviation structural mechanic. An avid hunter, he was a member of the Windsor Hunt Club. He is survived by his loving family; wife, Robyn Michelle Fury; parents, Verland and Mary Lou Fury; sons, Mikel Fury and wife Kim, Shawn Fury and wife Paige, Christopher Fury and partner Mary, Nathan Fury; daughters, Melissa Gillum, Dawn G. Uzzle, Christina Gillum; four grand children, numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, William Fury, Jon Fury, Stephen Fury, Kevin Fury; sisters, Patty Fagan, Mary Lynn Fury. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Fury. Mike was also blessed with many loyal friends. Mike fought a courageous battle against ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) and was constantly surrounded by the love and support of his wife and children. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, at 3:00 p.m. in the R. W. BAKER & CO. FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY by Father Lou Ruoff. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service. Condolences may be registered at
