age 88, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2023. John was born to John and Merle Fuss on February 2, 1935. Beloved husband of Katharine for 63 years. Loving father of John "Jack" Jay Fuss and Merle A. Fuss (Kevin Kroeger). Caring grandfather to Kyle, Katie, Eric and Kelly. Dear brother of M. Pauline Kohl.
John and Katharine have lived in Westlake for 57 years, 50 of which were in the century home at the corner of Dover and Hilliard roads, settling in at Brookdale Westlake Village more recently. John was a veteran of the United States Navy and a proud 43 year friend of Bill W. and his family. He was also employed at American Greetings. for 34 years. John was one of a kind and will be missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 11,2023 at 2 pm, visitations will be from 1 pm until the service at 2 pm at Jenkins Funeral Chapel, 2914 Dover Center Rd., Westlake, 44145.

I am so deeply sorrowed by this news. John was a fantastic neighbor when I lived on Hilliard and was just like a dad to me. He and Kathy were so very kind. Always willing to give me a hand. Prayers are with Kathy and their children and grandchildren.
