John Galicia Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 1, 2025.
John Michael "Johnny G" Galicia, 52, passed away on May 27, 2025, in Roseville, California. Born on December 27, 1972, in Woodland, California, John lived a life full of energy, laughter, and deep connections with those around him.

John's vibrant spirit left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered. Known for his glorious energy and infectious laugh, he lit up every room he entered. His signature big smile-accented by the dimples that never failed to charm was a reflection of the warmth and joy he brought into the lives of others.

He had a passion for life that was evident in everything he did. Whether it was cruising down the highway on his Harley, spending sunny days boating on the river, or cooking up meals for the people he loved most, John embraced each moment with enthusiasm and heart. He also had a deep appreciation for cars and found joy in sharing drinks and stories with friends who became like brothers to him.

John is survived by his loving parents, John and Cheryl; his sister Shelly; his daughter Celeste; his son Isaac; his niece Shiloh; and his brothers Jonathan and Richard. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles, and countless friends who were more like family-brothers in spirit if not by blood.

His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who carry him in their hearts. A Graveside Service will be held on June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Sylvan Cemetery District 7401 Auburn Blvd

You shook the ground, the air and the emotions of everyone when you came in the room. Your absence was mourned incredibly in life when you were not around so in death it is going to be so much harder. My heart is broken for all who knew you in this life because you left behind so much love and friendship that cannot be replaced, the loss is deep. I´ll always love you.

Dear Celeste,

I was heartbroken to hear of your father´s passing. Though I did not have the privilege of knowing John personally, reading about his vibrant spirit, deep love for life, and the joy he brought to those around him moved me deeply. What a remarkable man he must have been.

I feel grateful every day to work alongside you, and it´s clear that the strength, warmth, and dedication you bring to everything you do are reflections of his lasting legacy.

Please accept my heartfelt condolences. May your father rest in peace, and may you and your family find comfort in the love and memories you shared with him.

With deepest sympathy,

Aileen

It was a pleasure to have met you at work. After my departure, we remained friends. I´m grateful for that. Did a lot of things together that I will never forget. Will definitely be missing you. My memories will never be forgotten. See you in the next chapter my dear brother
