John Gasparac Obituary

GASPARAC _ John Ivan, born in Mrkopalj, Gorski Kotar, Croatia. With great sadness we announce the passing our our husband, father, grandfather and brother on March 28, 2006 at the age of 83 years, with his family at his bedside. He is predeceased by his sisters, Marija and Antonija in Croatia. John is survived by his loving family: wife Marija and sons John (Maca) and Rudolf; grandchildren, Sabrina, Ivana and Marko. He also leaves his sister Katarina (Josip) Trbovic and family, and other relatives, nephews and friends in Croatia and the Troha family in Vancouver. Special thanks to the Three Links Care Centre for their care and support. Prayers will be offered on Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. from Immaculate Heart of Mary Croatian Catholic Church, 3105 E. 1st Avenue, Vancouver where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Miro Ancic celebrant, and Rev. Paul Norac con-celebrant. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Burnaby. For those who wish a donation to the Croatian CARITAS can be made through the Croatian Church in lieu of flowers. BELL FUNERAL CHAPEL 604-253-4554

Dear Family Gasparac,

On behalf of the entire Cirjak family we would like to give you our deepest condolonces. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. I personally will never forget the way Mr.Gasparac argued with the ref's or the time he said " I ja bi isao da sam snao da ce pobebiti" at the airport while you were on the way back from Edmonton. Mr.Gasparac was someone that everyone loved and will continue to love.
