Mr. G was our neighborhood grandpa. We all would visit and spend time with him and his daughter Anna. He attended all our Easter parties and birthdays. He was good friend with both my parents. He spoiled me, and my two best friends Brianna Hill and Ashley Nier. He took us to work with him, and was the best soccer coach I've ever had. He even helped me learn to swim and attended most of my swim meets. I really wish we would have stayed in better contact after I moved from the neighborhood. Mr. G. You will always be loved, missed, and remembered. You were one of the best grandfather's anyone could have.

So sad to hear of our dear dear "Mr. G" passing. He was the grandfather to my children when they didn't have one...he was the grandfather to the neighborhood children...remembering going to Terry Parker pool with the kids and after Dairy Queen for their 'prize' for swimming..and ice cream cone! :-) RIP Mr. G...we will always have you in our hearts!

So sorry to hear that Mr. Gentleman has passed away. He came into our Nearly New Thrift Shop at Mayport many, many times. We even sponsored several of his soccer teams. He was a good man. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
