I met Jack and Mavis while in nursing school in Kansas. I had the wonderful opportunity of being both a carregiver and quickly becomimg a friend as well. Jack and Mavis were two of the most loving, giving, caring people I have ever had the privilege to know. They truly were each other's best friend and soul mate. It was humbling to witness their life together. Jack felt like the grampa I never had. Jack was quick to give advise, if he thought he saw something in you. Always willing to help those that wanted to help themselves. Even those who could not ever give back. I will miss both of them terribly. R.I.P you two. I hope the Starbucks up there is amazing!

Jack was a very kind man. Laurie and I met him shortly after moving into Wilderness Estates over 20 years ago. Jack and Mavis would be out for their daily drive and would always stop by if they saw us in the front yard. They always had nice compliments about our work on our home. We spoke to Jack many times on the phone to answer any questions he had, we enjoyed helping him whenever he needed it. Rest in peace Jack, you're with your beloved Mavis now. You will be fondly remembered and dearly missed. Frank & Laurie Priest

So sorry for your loss. He was the first manager I worked for when I started at JCPenney in Wichita, Ks. In the 32 yrs. I worked at JCP., he was my favorite. So kind and generous. He will be missed.
