John P. Hambly, age 41, of Plymouth, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at his home after a brief illness. He was born September 27, 1968 in Cleveland. He was a 1986 graduate of Malibar High School. John drove truck for several years. He had been a store manager for Rentway in Willard for several years, manager of Rent A Center in Cleveland and had most recently worked for 6 years at R.R. Donnelly & Sons in Willard until his disability. He loved his children and grandchildren, fishing and enjoyed doing home improvement projects and remodeling. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Deanna (Stumbo) Hambly; his children, Jessica Hambly of Columbus, Joshua Strong of Mansfield and Nakeisha Strong of Florida; his parents, Tom and Carolyn Hambly ; 3 grandchildren, Annie, Rylee and Nevaeh Strong; brothers, Tom (Jenny) Hambly, Jr., Tim (Diane Castle) Hambly ; sisters, Mary (Pat) Beech, Susan (Issac) Hawkins and Carolyn (James) Keiser; mother in law, Gladys Stumbo; his best friends, Gary and Cyndi Flint. He was preceded in death by 3 children, Justin and Kristy Wright, and Monica Strong. Friends may call from 6 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2010 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 16 High St., Attica, Ohio. Burial will follow at Plymouth Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be given to the family in care of the funeral home. Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich are in charge of arrangements.
