John Hammer Obituary
Born on July 9, 1948, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, John spent his early years in the San Jose and San Mateo areas of California. He graduated from Carlmont High School and maintained enduring friendships with many of his classmates throughout his life.
John held a variety of occupations over the years. He worked as a truck driver, tool salesman, and stager, and also operated a pool service business under the name sun4mydog. A longtime resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, he also lived in Citrus Heights and Capitola, California.
An avid golfer and devoted animal lover, John found joy in simple pleasures-especially walking along the beach with his son and their dogs. These moments were among his most cherished.
He is survived by his son, Nicholas Hammer. He was preceded in death by his father, John H. Hammer, Sr.; his mother, Ethel BarbaraJean Frigge; and his half-brother, Basil Lee Frigge.
John's ashes will be scattered off Pillar Point in Half Moon Bay, a location that held deep personal meaning for him.
