John Steven Harden, 67, passed away at home in Severna Park on December 9, 2022. He was the youngest of three children, born on December 4, 1955 to Helen and Jack Harden in Baltimore, MD. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Christopher. He is survived by his sisters, Cindy Dryden and Denise Leitner and by his children, Jessica and Nicholas Harden.

John worked in the restaurant business for many years until he became involved with vitamin/wellness sales. Unable to work full time after multiple surgeries and deteriorating health, he began driving for Uber and Lyft where he had many regular customers.

He was an active member of Severna Park United Methodist Church where he was involved with church security, ushering, and Boy Scouts. He enjoyed playing golf and ice hockey and was a Baltimore Orioles and Washington Capitals fan.

A memorial service and reception will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 4:00pm at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road, Severna Park, MD 21146. Weather permitting, a bonfire will follow.

Terribly sorry to learn of John's passing. As kids we played allotta hockey together. I remember John as a very good hockey player and a fun guy.
