I was shocked to hear about John leaving us. I worked with him for a short time but he left a life long impression on me as being the most talented, knowledgeable as well as the best human being. He was a great friend and mentor. I will miss you John.

Tim, my thoughts and prayers to you Ali, your Mom and family. Even though in my lifetime I have had many coaches, John will forever be known as Coach to me. He was always inspiring and had a way of bringing out the best in everyone. I can remember the times with him on the field and at your house like it was yesterday... He will be greatly missed.

I respected John for his inquisitiveness and his care for those around him. He had a natural ability to mentor, sometimes you didn't even realize you were his mentee until you thought back! I will fondly remember the spirit he brought to work, John made it great fun and adventure.
