John Emmett Henry passed away November 25, 2015 at the age of 86.

Jack was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 2, 1929 to Edward and Ann Barrett Henry. He served in the Korean War with KMAG, the Korean Military Advisory Group. In 1955 he married Ann Therese Mannion and in 1971 he moved with his family from Chicago to Dallas.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Therese, his children Mark, John (Michelle), Mary Roucka (Randy), Julie McKee (Kevin), and Eileen Davern (Alex); his ten grandchildren Julia and Sophie Henry, Livy, Hank and Joe Roucka, Emma and Hugh McKee, and Jack, Kate and Tessa Davern. Jack was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Eileen Newman, Dorothy Jordan, Kay McClellan, Edward and Don Henry. A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Dallas at 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 5, rosary at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to P.L.A.N. of North Texas.

I'll miss you Jack but will cherish all the memories we shared together . Will miss our annual celebrations together in February as you celebrated your anniversary and James' birthday. It's been so great knowing you so many years and will truly miss you. Rest in peace my friend.
