JOHN HERBERT Obituary
John, age 84, of Oakmont, died Saturday evening, November 28, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Collins) Herbert; dear father of Norman (Lynn) Herbert, Keith (Suzanne) Herbert, Scott (Lori) Herbert and Mark (Ron) Herbert and the late Luray E. Herbert; brother of the late Norma Jean Herman; grandfather of Kimberly, Kathleen, and Shawna Herbert; great-grandfather of Paul, Caden Paljavcsik and Jason. Norm was retired from Peoples Natural Gas as an inspector, served in the U.S. Army during peacetime, and was a longtime member of Oakmont Elks. Friends and relatives will be received at BURKET - TRUBY FUNERAL HOME CREMATION & ALTERNATIVE SERVICES, INC., 421 Allegheny Ave., Oakmont, PA on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. Services Thursday 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Elks Service Wednesday evening 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Visit us at:
