To the family of Herky,

I was so very sorry to read of the passing of a real true friend. John and my dad (Chick Carachilo) were in the war together.
We talked about there time together in Italy. I am sure that you all know the story.
John will always be in my prayers.

I am sorry to hear about Hergy's death. I always enjoyed his war stories and the appreciation and friendship he showed me all the years I had the opportunity to work for and know him. He was a true American one in a million. His calls, emails and the chance to talk to him will be sadly missed. I wish I had his energy get up and go, he was always spunky had a smile and helping others fulfilled his life.
:He will be missed:

You will be greatly missed. I am lucky to have had you as an Uncle. You are with Bob and your sisters now. My prayers and thoughts are with your family.
