John Michael Hill

Hill In true John fashion, our beloved John left this world unexpectedly on the 24th of April 2023.

John will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his quick wit, his love of music and poetry, his Thanksgiving turkey costume and his Little Billy imitation.

Although a current Dallas resident, John was a native Houstonian. He attended Second Baptist School and Lamar High School prior to graduating from San Marcos Baptist Academy. He went to Baylor University, where he pledged Kappa Alpha fraternity and earned his BBA in 1995.

First in Dallas, and then in Colorado Springs, John had a long career in the health insurance industry where his compassionate and giving personality served him well.

Preceded in death by his father, Mike Hill and his uncle Dennis Hill, John is survived by his mother, Joyce Hill West and her husband Bob along with Bob's children, his twin sister Ashley Hill Welling and her husband Judd, his stepmother Marji Hill and her children, numerous cousins and countless friends. He will be sorely missed by the aforementioned.

A small, private gathering for the immediate family and close friends to celebrate John's life and legacy will be held at a future date.
