John Wesley Hodges, Sr., 83, began his heavenly journey on December 23, 2020. John loved Pat, his family and country. He was an honorable man and a patriot proudly serving in the National Guard and the U.S. Army.

John is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Patricia Blackburn Hodges; children, John W. Hodges, Jr. (Yolanda) and Deborah Frances Hodges; daughter-in-law, Sandy Hodges; grandchildren, John Wesley Hodges III, Kimberly Faye Hodges, Sheena, Kristen, Karissa and Joseph Hodges and his brother, Jimmy Hodges (Vicki). John we will love and miss you forever – but we will meet again.

Services were private. Arrangements by Weymouth Funeral Home.

We share such wonderful memories with John and will never forget his smile and loving, caring ways. He was truly a gentleman who loved his family. We will continue to wrap our arms around Pat and give her the love she needs until we all meet you in heaven John.
