John Hopkins Obituary
Born Monday, February 24, 1986, in Richmond, VA, he was the son of Joseph Arlie Hopkins, Jr. and stepmother Mary of Mineral, VA, and Victoria Louise Barlow and stepfather John Spicer Wilds of Melbourne, FL.
John attended Linganore High School. He was in business with his friend Johnny Tressler. John was a smart, good hearted person, with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed cooking, fishing and soccer, but more than anything he loved, and was devoted to, his children.
He is survived by his fiance, Lauren Weinberg of Hagerstown, MD; daughter, Alexis Elizabeth Zeller and son Jacob Cameron Hopkins both of New Market, MD; daughter Chayla Hopkins of Libertytown, MD; daughter Cameo Denise Weinberg of Hagerstown, MD; John has two children on the way whom he will never meet. Four stepsons, Hayden Ruh and Rylan Ruh, both of Libertytown, MD; Onyx Ceballos and Abram Ceballos both of Hagerstown, MD; sister Samantha Marie Woodside of Clarion, PA; niece Faith Rose Yachimowski of Clarion, PA.
Services will be held privately with the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown, Maryland

i miss you dad, everyday more and more life was never the same without you. i quit soccer because we didnt have enough time for it anymore. i wish you were still here so you could see henny, he acts just like you.mom just recently had another kid his name is marley hes cute. im ngl schools been tough with everything, bullying, how much work there is, fights , just everything. im trying but im still failing and ik you would be dissapointed in me and im so sorry for not neing nice like you said to always be. i got a cat in 2020 and i really thought you had sent her to me but she ran away.. boys arent the same anymore their all rude and they think its cool to play and cheat nd ik u used to think it was cool too but still. i always be thinking about if u were still here what would be different , would i be nicer? , would i try more?. but ill never know any of that. i hope you and mark are having fun up there, im always screamin LLJ nd LLM i miss yall. i love you dad.

My love,
I miss you with all my heart and soul every single moment of the day. I want you here beside me, I want to hug you, and feel your arms around me. Even though you are not physically here I can feel you with me every day. I am so lucky to have shared my life with you, although I wish it could have been longer. You deserve that life. I wanted to give you the best life I possibly could. I love you babe and I know that I still have your love. I know you are free now.
