He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Linda C. Farnen, son John O. Farnen, son Benjamin E. Farnen, and daughter Kari-Lynn L. Hu; his brother Bill Farnen, and sisters Carol Spichiger, Lois Borowy, Beth Valkosky, Janet DeCecco, Ruth Kowalski, Rita Curry, and Susan Holmes; four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Private services will be held.
